Historical Synopsis: Sam Eigen created the Ultrazone brand name in 1992 after securing distribution rights for laser tag from the Australian manufacturer P&C Micros. Ultrazone franchising began in the United States and developed the Zap Zone concept of non-franchised locations. In 2000 Ultrazone Franchising was later purchased by P&C Micros. That same year DarkZone Technologies Inc., Ultrazone Franchising, and Crystal Entertainment were all acquired by P&C Micros and merged to create Zone Sytems, Inc.
