Equipment Overview: Solaris Leisure used phasers that they called “Raygens” because they preferred not to use the word “guns”. This choice for terminology was intended to convey that their system was safe and would not harm anyone.
Raygens would speak to players using words in spoke to the players while in use during a game and could be adjusted for a choice or two languages, for example English could be an option along with French, Spanish, Japanese or German. Solaris Leisure created and produced both mobile systems for use inside inflatable playing spaces and systems for fixed-location arenas.
Historical Synopsis: Solaris Leisure’s founder, William Latham, served as a Chief Engineer for the laser tag manufacturer Pulsar and decided to launch his own laser company, remaining in the industry after Pulsar closed. The company he created was Solaris Leisure.
