Equipment Overview: The Laser Mania system is fiber optic with a vest that registers a series of dashes emitted from the phaser. The target area of the fiber optic strips along the vest runs about 216 square inches, glowing orange or blue, and the vest is only about 4 lbs 4 oz in weight. There have been three generations of Laser Mania phasers. Early editions resembled a six-barrel revolver, while the more current version is a more sci-fi style done in branded hard plastic.

Historical Overview: 

Laser Mania founder Pat Rothwell originally operated a business in 1996 that utilized Laser Reality equipment. By summer of 1998 by Rothwell began producing his own equipment in Hattiesburg, MS where it is still manufactured.
