Equipment Overview: Laser Game Evolution packs include a front and back sensor that lights up in team colors of red, yellow or blue along with an attached one-handed phaser. There are additional game modules available for completing in-game objectives and include bases, “the trap” where players may lose points if they walk through the protected area and “the door” which can serve as a gate where active players may lose points if they cross.

Historical Overview: Inspired by a movie about American paintball players, Laser Game Evolution founder Patrick Fournier created what would become the first laser tag system invented in France back in 1995 when he developed his first Laser Game Evolution gear. Their first location was opened in 1996 and over 60 locations were later opened throughout Europe with locations using Laser Game Evolution equipment in France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Luzemborg and Canada. Xavier Pouillat became involved with the company in 1999. In 2000 a contract was signed with a distribution company, but by 2005 Laser Game Evolution separated from the other company and Laser Game Evolution began managing their own distribution.
