Equipment Overview: Laser Force (UK) laser tag equipment included a rectangular-styled phaser with a round barrel end that attached to a ribbed vest. The equipment was manufactured by Autolec, an electronics company out of Sussex, UK.

History: Laser Force (UK), Ltd. began manufacturing their equipment in 1992 after incorporating on March 21, 1990. Prior to 1990 the company did business under the name Libra Design Services, Ltd. With a similar aesthetic to Pulsar and Laser Chaser and a shared common proprietary communication protocol owned by Martin Shoebridge, it is thought that there is some shared inspiration and that Pulsar may have been inspired from the Laser Force (UK) with Laser Chaser inspired by Pulsar. Autolec produced the electronics for all three of these companies which were instrumental in laser tag gaining popularity in the UK. Laser Force (UK) ceased trading in 1997.
