Equipment Overview: the SimGun laser tag equipment includes several pieces including a laser unit, central body unit, head unit, respawner and base station. The laser unit is made of plastic and can be mounted onto any standard rail. Pressing the trigger activates the laser and there is audible feedback to let you know when you have tagged a player or been tagged. The body central unit is made from a wrap around mesh cloth that contains sensors in the front, back and shoulders. The headband-style head unit also includes sensors. The respawned unit is a remote control, which allows for refreshing a player who has been eliminated, allowing them to return to the game. And the base station is where game information is recorded. This unit contains a status display for game settings.

Historical Synopsis: Marco Riedesser aimed to bring battlefield-style video games into real world play when he launched SimGun in 2008. The company launched in Sweden and their equipment is manufactured in Switzerland.
