According to the Lazer Runner website, “With a built-in alphanumeric display, the player has the capability to observe the time, shots, and lives remaining during the game, as well as their personal score at the end of the game for quick comparison. The display also indicates the software version, the player number, and current channel selection for RF transmission.”

The Lazer Runner vest has fiber optic panels located on the front, shoulders, and back of the vest. These panels light up 6 different colors and are deactivated for 5 seconds when hit.

History: Kenn Schurek started off distributing equipment for Laser Force UK. Due to technological issues that arose in the early 90’s with laser tag, Kenn began to create his own equipment. According to ILTA records, the first Lazer Runner opened in March of 1993.
