History: On September 23, 1986 LaserTron was incorporated in Amherst, NY under the chairman James (Jim) Kessler. 2 years later, in December of 1988, LaserTron’s equipment was first used in a facility. 4 years later, in 1992, LaserTron began to sell their equipment.

In 2003 LaserTron and the ILTA had a disagreement that became well known in the industry. After this disagreement, LaserTron led the movement to create the LTMSA.

In 2012 LaserTron introduced their most recent product, the LT-12.

This LaserTron, based in Amherst, New York, is not related to the LaserTron that existed before it in Auckland, NZ.
