First Facility: Zap Zone Xtreme Laser Tag, 31506 Grand River, Farmington, Michigan
Equipment: There are three types of laser tag systems offered by Laser Blast: FunBlast, HyperBlast, and ZetaBlast.
The FunBlast system is Laser Blast’s ideal entry level system. It features lasers and vest and run without a PC, so it requires no installation. It’s their ideal system if you want to run a portable application.
The HyperBlast system is Laser Blast’s radio frequency PC based system. Their radio modems allow the vests to communicate with each other during the game.
The ZetaBlast system is their biggest and most advanced laser tag system. ZetaBlast currently offers over 20 new effects and Laser Blast constantly adds on new ones.
History: Laser Blast is produced and manufactured by Advanced Avionics, Inc.; an industrial and entertainment electronics manufacturer based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The founders of Advanced Avionics, Inc. after playing Laser Tag at stores throughout the Midwest and talking to operators of Laser Tag businesses decided to develop their own Laser Tag System. The Laser Blast equipment was inspired by the Zone Laser Tag product line at that time.
